Bike Shenandoah was organized to provide a fun day for cyclists of all ages to cycle through the scenic Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and to raise funds for the following agencies:
Third Way Media
is the media arm of Mennonite Mission Network (the global mission agency of the Mennonite Church USA.) Mennonite Media's purpose is to provide electronic and public media which invite individuals to faith and challenge the church to faithfulness.
Mennonite Central Committee
is the relief, service and development agency of North American
Mennonite and Brethern In Christ churches.
Virginia Mennonite Missions
is the mission arm of Virginia Mennonite Conference for global
evangelism, education and partnership.
NewBridges Immigrant Resource Center
founded in 2000 by the Harrisonburg District of Virginia Mennonite Conference to empower immigrants in the Shenandoah Valley to become active community participants. NewBridges IRC partners with local agencies to provide a variety of services, including education, medical bill management and immigration counsel. In addition, NewBridges provides diversity education to local community groups through Immigrant Learning Events. |
